Green decommissioning project

Decommissioning is part of the normal life cycle of every oil and gas structure when a facility reaches the end of its life. Abandoned offshore structures represent technical and economic challenges to oil and gas companies, especially with the increase in environmental awareness worldwide.

ISE team is part of one of Europe's most significant demolition projects. With an approximate weight of 33,000 tons, the offshore platform will be dismantled and 95 % of building materials will be sorted for recycling. During a working day, more than 100 tones are decommissioned and sorted into 14 different materials.
